Summary: These terms govern your use of the Yarvia makeup coaching app. Yarvia provides educational, aesthetic makeup guidance — it is not medical or dermatological advice. Yarvia Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play; you can cancel it anytime in your store account. Premium adds 30 credits every 30 days, valid for 30 days; credits you buy in packs never expire. Content and trademarks belong to Yarvia. Contact: support@yarvia.app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Yarvia mobile app and the yarvia.app website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of the Service

Yarvia is a personal makeup coaching app that offers visual, step-by-step makeup guidance: lessons you read on screen and move through at your own pace, color season analysis from a selfie, makeup analysis of your photos, Try On Me (an AI preview of a makeup on your own photo), Studio, a makeup bag with barcode scanning and product checks, and AI coach chat. On supported devices, a live mirror also shows on-screen placement guidance over your camera image. Available features can differ by device and platform. Content is informational and is not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Account and Eligibility

You can use Yarvia as a guest or create an account with email, Google or Apple. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. You are responsible for your account’s security and for any activity that occurs under your account; do not share your account with others.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Yarvia’s core features are free. Yarvia Premium is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) managed through your App Store or Google Play account. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically for the same period at the current price, and the renewal is charged to your store account. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your store’s subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Premium access until then. Deleting your Yarvia account does not cancel a store subscription. Credit packs are one-time purchases and are not part of the subscription. Refunds for purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their own policies.

5. Credits

Credits are used for AI features such as Try On Me and the photo try-ons in Studio. Yarvia Premium adds 30 credits every 30 days; these credits are valid for 30 days, and unused ones don’t carry over to the next period. Credits you buy in packs never expire. You need an account to buy credit packs, so your credits stay with you if you change phones. Purchased credits are added to your account immediately after purchase; refund requests follow the rules of the store you bought from (App Store / Google Play) and applicable consumer law. Credits you earn as gifts (for example, from invites or the gift box) can be used for the same features; you don’t need Premium or a credit pack. If an AI operation fails, the credits spent on it are returned automatically. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged for money or refunded, except where required by applicable law or the store’s rules. When you delete your account, your remaining credits are deleted too.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service unlawfully or in ways that harm others, not to interfere with the app’s operation, not to reverse-engineer it, and not to copy content without permission.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the app — including lessons, design, branding, and the “Yarvia” name — belongs to Yarvia and is protected by applicable laws.

Product information

Ingredient lists and other product details in the app are compiled from information that brands and retailers publish publicly. They are for information only, and their accuracy and timeliness are not guaranteed. The current ingredients are printed on the product’s packaging; if you have an allergy or sensitivity, check the list on the packaging before use. If you spot an error, write to support@yarvia.app and we’ll correct or remove it.

Data sources and rights notices

Part of the product catalog comes from Open Beauty Facts data, used under the Open Database License (ODbL), with product photos under CC BY-SA. If you believe content in the app infringes your or someone else's rights, write to support@yarvia.app; we'll review it and remove it if needed.

8. Your Content

You represent that the images you upload are yours or that you have the right to use them; they remain yours. We process them only to provide the feature you use (for example color analysis or a try-on), as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account permanently deletes your content.

9. Disclaimer

The makeup, color, and skin recommendations Yarvia provides are for personal and aesthetic purposes; they do not constitute medical or dermatological advice. Try-on images are AI-generated previews and may not exactly match how a product looks on you. When using cosmetic products, you should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and consult a professional in case of skin sensitivity or allergies. The service is provided “as is.”

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yarvia shall not be liable for indirect damages that may arise from the use of the service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete my account); see yarvia.app/delete-account.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; we’ll announce significant changes in the app. The current version is published on this page, and the “last updated” date is refreshed.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
